Hi all, we are staying at the Intercontinental Sydney for the Australia Day weekend, our first stay as Ambassador members... I have looked online & there doesn't seem to be any rooms of a higher standard than we have booked (King Club) available. I'm wondering under these circumstances what usually happens with the guaranteed upgrade? Do they keep rooms available that aren't advertised for upgrades or is it likely we are going to be told no upgrade available. I have emailed to hotel direct to ask if it is possible to confirm the upgrade prior to check-in, but have not received a reply.

Also, I have booked a second room using our PP BOGO night voucher for my step daughter. The certs say they are transferable, but will she also need the member for a day cert as well to check-in?

Thanks in advance :)

Your step daughter just needs the BOGO, the member for a day is for dining. Re no higher rooms on offer, your booked room will become your upgrade and your rate adjusted to reflect the room rate underneath that one.
