Hey guys,

Lurker for a little while and I thought it would be time to introduce myself.

I'm Daniel, recently moved to Sydney, but originally from Adelaide.
Became a QFF when I started to travel a lot for work, and there was a free offer to join. Since then in my first year I got to SG quite quickly, without learning any tips and tricks, and was at 1020SC by the time I realised that the re-assessment was about to occur.
Kicking myself now that I didn't know about all the little tricks and Status Runs (DOH!)

This year I seem to have travelled a lot less, and have been doing flights on Rex a bit more and hence not earning anything (I feel really depressed when I'm flying and not earning haha).

But I've been reading quite a bit on the site and am so thankful for the collective knowledge that has been posted up here over time!
As a result I've signed onto the WOW card, and DJAMEX recently too, signed up for OnePath income protection (and didn't realise about the 10,000 bonus points - hope I qualified for these).

Sitting at 102,732 points now, again kicking myself for all the wasted domestic upgrades and classic award and JAFA's ive claimed for cheap flights! Could have been near 200k.

Regardless, my goal currently is to reach the 280-285k for a OW RTW fare. Would love to hit WP some day, although I think in this membership year (and the next) I won't be flying nearly as much as I did in my first year, so that may be a bit of a pipe dream until I get back into a FIFO job.

Anyway, thought I'd say hi, and thanks for all the passive help so far, I'll be sure to ask some questions soon!
