American flying into Sydney for first time

Hi there,
As an American flying into Sydney for the first time with a flight arrival of 4PM can anyone tell me what Immigration looks like at around that time? About how long will it take to get through normally at that time?
Any info very helpful..

I got into SYD from ZQN 2 weeks ago at around 4pm, unbelievably quiet through customs, out in 5min.
That was a Sunday though, a weekday might be a different story.

Early AM is the busiest time for SYD customs and immigration - it shouldn't take you too long at 4PM.
