I saw the following in the app and was wondering what I would be redeeming? Is this using points to pay for the transaction?

Yes but very poor way to use points, it values them at 0.8c

Thanks, I thought as much. I would never use my points to pay my bill and have never seen that message in the app before. It seemed very easy to click it too. Not sure if there is a confirmation page before the points are deducted but I find that a bit sneaky.

I think AMEX had similarly easy to accidentally click link for paying for small shop purchases last year (equally poor value of course).
