Amex Plat Charge Question

Hi All,

I currently have the plat charge, and my renewal is up July this year. Still very much undecided to keep it or cancel. Reason I'm undecided is due to the Marco Polo status, 3 points for restaurants and 2 points for international. And maybe the insurance, I'm not sure if it's a lot better than the EDGE or westpacs insurance? Anyone know ?

I have the Plat EDGE and Reserve (free with charge card) at the moment as well.

Also have Westpac Altitude Black AMEX/MC

Too many cards for my liking!

Question was, if I was to cancel the charge, does my Marco Polo Gold, hotel status, Priority Pass gets cancelled straight away or will they be valid up until the respective cards expiry?

Generally till they individually expire.

Many here dumped Amex Plat when they signifcantly downgraded the included travel insurance.
I now have an Amex Plat Credit and an annual travel insurance policy (paid)
