I tried to see if this had been asked before but couldn't see anything.
I'm just curious as to which is the better option (in most peoples opinion) for the AMEX Platinum card.
Annual card fee is $249
Currently, the offer is 80,000 Qantas points when you spend $3000 in 3months
plus 2,500 bonus points on your first Qantas spend.
Or is it better to go one of the member referral options, which gives the following.
42,500 points when you spend $500 in 3 months
5,000 points for your first spend on the card
plus 2,500 bonus points on your first Qantas spend = 50,000 (if you buy a Qantas product)
Just wondering what people think is the better option.
I like the idea of the Qantas club membership, so would prefer that to the ultimate card where you get a domestic flight.
Thanks in advance - Caito
