Is anyone else having these issues with the website?

I have been trying to use the AMEX travel website for the past week to book accommodation in Paris and London with no luck. When trying to search for accommodation, instead of using locations, the cities are coming up by their airport locations, eg Paris - CDG. When you get to the search results, none of their FHR come up in their results! I have tried searching manually by hotel name but still no FHR available in the results. The website is so badly designed that once you click away from the home screen, you cannot go back to the main section to see the FHR listings etc.

I called AMEX a week ago to ask what was happening and they advised that their was clearly a bug in their site and that someone would call me back on Monday. No one has called me back and the website is still using airports instead of cities for hotel bookings (I notice that Sydney is coming up properly though so it must just be some locations).

After giving AMEX a week, I called again today and they still don't know what the issue is. I find it hard to believe I am the only person trying to book accommodation in Paris and London. It is very disappointing given the very high annual fee for this card that I cannot book the listed FHR properties via their website nor get a call back as promised.

i have been promised a call back on Monday. Fingers crossed they get their act together.

I've found that sometimes the website is a bit buggy but I've successfully booked hotels a number of times.

I have provided feedback to the travel team via the email address listed on the webpage and this was forwarded to someone responsible for the website, rather than a travel or phone consultant.

You might have more luck using this method.

A note on the FHR listings, you need to be logged in to view these (as they're only available to Platinum/Cent cardholders but the travel website is for all card members). Having said this though, I can't get FHR to show for any of the cities that I'm searching.

I have seen the FHR hotels listed on this website previously however.

In terms of the airports, this has been the way things have been displayed for some time and is annoying. I'm also seeing Paris, London and Bangkok as 'Paris - all airports' etc.

Although it is annoying, just choosing one of the airports will still show you the hotels for that city.

Thanks! I have logged in and tried using Paris all airports but I only get one FHR result. The travel team have advised all FHR properties show up on their system so it's a bug in the system as they should come up.

I find the travel website very 'clunky' and get very frustrated with it. I haven't experienced the difficulties you are having, generally the FHR hotels appear in any search I do, however I haven't been able to book a hotel online. There is usually some problem with the website when I do go to make a booking and I end up having to make the booking via phone. Also annoyingly, about every 2nd time I login to the site I get redirected to the UK site, have to change country, and then log on again. Searches are also very slow.
I have provided feedback to Amex about my experience with the site.
