Free from annual fees the American Express QANTAS Discovery card is a handy back-up card.

The card comes with 10,000 bonus QANTAS points.

The card has No Annual Fee and an interest free period of up to 44 days.

This is my referral offer. I receive 20,000 points when you meet the T&Cs of the offer.
These are basically spend $750 within 3 months.

Thank you.

Thank you to the member who applied using this link.

Get out of gaol free concept. I applied for and have now received a free supplementary card which my daughter will take with her as an emergency back-up on an up-coming Europe trip.
By keeping the credit limit reasonably low (I have it only as a back-up) I have mitigated any risks in the event she is robbed and so I am happy to provide her this card as it also keeps risk at arms length to my (and her) other cards.

EDIT: Just noticed Qantas have changed the sign up T&C's. I get 10,000 points but the referee does not get any points, only a free card.
Perhaps better to wait until they sweeten the terms.

No offers available for this card right now. However it is a handy card to have in your back pocket "just in case" and it costs nothing to get and keep.
This has been a handy card whilst my daughter is stuck overseas because of covid. She has a supplementary card for emergencies.

Amex have changed the link to this offer and there is currently no sign up bonus miles.
The card still has $0 annual fee.

That said it is still a handy card to have for that emergency situation. I keep a minimal limit on it for safety sake, just reassuring to have a fallback card.
I should receive a 10,000 pt bonus.
