AMEX Velocity - Inc Flight (Sectors)

Hello,

This has probably been asked already somewhere, but does the included flight with the Velocity AMEX count towards Velocity FF flight sectors? I'm not to worried about status or points (as i will earn that with international travel on partner airlines), but I need the eligible sectors (virgin ticketed flight) also to upgrade my current status level.

Sorry if a stupid question.

The flight will be Adelaide to GC/Coolangatta.

My free flight from the card late last year did not count for eligible sectors.

Just flew one of these the other day. It appeared in my activity as "Perth -Sydney (Not Valid For Earn) VA0552" No SC or points.

Thanks, I know it won't earn points or SC, but was just unsure on sectors. Such is life. Can't really complain though. It's with about $400 for flight alone.
