Hi all

Thanks for the welcome that no doubt will come and thanks for the site. I'm possibly an unusual one to join as I''m already a Platinum member with Qantas having moved back to my old company 2.5 years ago and then moving from Bronze to Silver to Gold to Platinum in the space of 9 months. And all economy or Premium Economy flying too - no business class with us. I run the APAC arm of a global sports marketing agency and so much of my travelling is to clients involved in motorsport like V8 Supercars and Formula One - not a bad job.

However, chatting to a guy on a recent flight to HK and he outlined this forum and the benefits it gave in terms of being able to understand the process much more - he was telling me about upgrades and how now it's all computer driven - so that's what I need to learn more about. Anyhow I waffle. I'm English, over here for 4 years now.

Look forward to learning more - and contributing more too...

Thanks
