Just posted another chapter from my Asia 2010 TR, this one is a review on the ANA Crowne Plaza Osaka.

In summary, wasn't overly impressed with the property. While the location was central with easy access to rail and the rest of the city, so many other elements of the property dissapointed me greatly.

I always find the japanese airline chain hotels (ana/nikko(JAL)) terrible - they are stuck in the 80s...

I can't say that applies to this property. The overall look, feel, fixtures and fittings were all very modern.

But yes, the customer service - specially for a brand name hotel - could have used some serious work.
