Annoying question [VA Status bennies on EY booked via Expedia?]

Sorry for the annoying question. I am a Velocity Gold member and just booked a return flight using Expedia from MEL-LHR return (8-16 January), flying Etihad Airlines. Do I get the Gold benefits even though I didn't book with VA using their website? More interested in Lounge access and priority checkin. Thanks so much in advance.

That should not make any difference - just ensure you have your statused Velocity number in the booking.

Bloody expedia won't let me add my ff number. Might have to call them tomorrow.

Do you have the EY booking reference?

In any case you should be able to call EY and have them insert it.

Yep, managed to get my FF number in by using the EY booking reference. Let's hope I can use the lounges and get the other nice things.
