Yes I got the same offer. I don't think thee is any value to it though. If you are going to be flying enough to make use of it, then you will most likely be gold soon enough anyway.

Don't necessarily agree. I recently purchased one as silver, just before I dropped back to red. At a single pass price of $65, you only need to use it 5 times to be ahead. If you value each entry at a more reasonable $30, you need to use it 10 times to break even. Very unlikely you'll reach gold in either of these two scenarios, unless you're flying flexis transcontinental.

Wouldn't mind getting that offer - hate flying without hubby in Y now. Have got thoroughly spoiled by his Lounge membership. I wish they'd send it to me (a lowly red).
