I try to get in a few dom trips but usually one substantial OS trip per year. So in 5 days, off to Italy for almost a month. Got QF Award flight to SIN (Exit row Y) then Y SIN to Italy Return (Exit row One way). SIN-PER on QF, have applied for points upgrade to J so see how that goes. Not nearly in the league of many members who fly J & F so do what I can.

Sounds like an interesting trip. It would be great if you updated the thread as you went along to let us know how it goes.

As for flying in Y, well good on you and I appreciate that for most people it is all they can afford. Nothing wrong with that, we all have the passion for flying and I am currently very fortunate that I can do my international flights in J or even F.

Have a great trip, nothing to be ashamed of flying in Y :) I've been there many times, and will still continue to do so ;)

Which parts of Italy are you exploring? Quite a few of us here have been there so maybe we could send you some suggestions :)

Starting in Como, then Levanto, Lucca, Grieve and Rome, spending a few days in each place.
