The QF website lists these overseas lounges as open
The Qantas International London Lounge, Los Angeles International Business Lounge (from 30 March) and Perth International Transit Lounge.
And
Some Qantas International First and International Business lounges are currently closed except for those listed in the table above, including all international lounges operated by partner airlines for Qantas passengers.
Does anyone have any inside info / guesses on when the QF NZ lounges will open?

Can someone tell me what this sentence means? "currently closed except for those listed in the table above, including all international lounges operated by partner airlines for Qantas passengers"
Does it mean QF are not paying LATAM for me to get into the lounge in SCL if I am on a QF code-share flight? In J?
Or does it mean I cant get into AA/BA/CX or other Oneworld lounges unless I am accepted by carrier rules? What happens if I am flying Y on CX as a WP?
And what about the lounge crawls? Are they still possible?
Or is the website out of date and it has all changed again?

The AKL QF lounge is being refurbished. From a FT post by Kiwi Flyer
handed two boarding passes and told the Qantas lounge is still closed but I can use the Air New Zealand lounge. It may be a while before the Qantas lounge reopens as they are refurbishing it - no more first lounge but a much improved business lounge. This is long overdue having been scheduled for years even pre-pandemic.
At CHC QF used the 3rd party Manaia lounge.

LA is now not in Oneworld, so OW status benefits will not apply (unless an out of alliance agreement: have not checked QF web site). Would expect class of travel to be honoured.

Do not overthink what is written

Pretty sure it means at a port where QF is operating it’s own metal and doesn’t have a lounge, but has a non one-world agreement to use the lounge.

Hypothetically if they had an arrangement with Thai Airways to use their lounge in BKK, this arrangement would be suspended until further notice.

I don’t think it applies to your LATAM example as you’re not flying Qantas, even if on a QF codeshare.

More than likely it’s just poor wording and lack of updates on the website and it’s back to normal (other than the still closed QF lounges)

Thanks
I know I am not match fit. Alan Joyce told us that. But it is a bit rich for QF ask us not to contact them because all the answers are on the website. At the end of the day at the airport, I can rely on cash for a coffee and a book.

Would we call it a lounge? I thought we settled on calling it a closest.
The "First"/"Emerald" area was small but at least had better F&B than the much larger Business lounge.

Presumably the areas will be combined into an "International Business Lounge" with under the counter premium service for those few with the right couloured cards.

Sorry to bump an old thread but saves posting a new one…

Is MEL Int back to normal hours? The website would suggest it’s closed for the evening QF/JQ DPS departures
