Hi all

First post here so apologies if in wrong location, and for it's boring nature. I have to book flights SYD to LDN, and return FRA to SYD leaving late June and back mid July. I've just checked prices on Qantas and it's around $3500, which seems to be very high to me. It's probably like trying to guess the weather but does Qantas normally have sales for this time of year or should I just lock in the price now? The other airlines I think are roughly the same...it's just I seem to remember about 3 weeks ago the price being around $2800. I'm a Qantas platnium FF so pretty keen to just fly with Qantas.

Many thanks

The only way they will go is up in all likely hood. July is the Olympics in London.

Hell of an Open Jaw that... Sydney to Lamidanda, Nepal (1700' dirt runway!) then Frankfurt to Sydney....;)

(Sorry.. couldn't resist it..... It was as tempting as when someone writes AUK for AKL..)

As already mentioned.. with the Olympics on fares could easily get higher rather than lower......
