Hi All, Thanks for all the information shared in your insightful posts.
Has anyone experience to share of flying with DJ HKT -PER in J?

I'm considering a DJ RTN-HKT/PER/HKT for Ms PJ and I in Flexi and requesting an upgrade to business using Pts - at least one way - I'm DJ Platinum (status matched to Gold and earned the rest...)

Have searched unsuccessfully for any reviews or trip reports about J class travel on DJ HKT/PER.

Am a bit concerned that the DJ Bus, class 737-800 seats may not be so comfortable for Ms PJ for a 6hr 30 min overnight flight that leaves HKT @ 23:59pm.

Is this the longest DJ flight with 737-800s?
Thanks,
PJ

Did a DPS to SYD (~6hrs) redeye.

Ate food, slept and woke up in SYD. Wasn't the best position to sleep in but easily sufficed but I was too tired to care really. Make her run around for a whole day and sleep deprive her until the flight - guarantee she will get a sound sleep.

Pity can't lift armrests, flight wasn't too full and lot of Y passengers had a row to themselves, seemed quite comfortable.

Thanks loobloke. I was also thinking about DPS to Aus also as another option. However, connecting through Bali though to a redeye seems a bit daunting since we would be coming into either HKT or DPS indirectly, on another carrier... I favor HKT since I speak passable Thai and reports of transfer in DPS (trip advisor) aren't very flattering. Your advice and experience is appreciated. Think we will still go HKT - PER, PJ.
