I'm spending most of my time in HKG now, so thought it might be interesting to see if anyone else on AFF lived here or spent a lot of time here. We could perhaps then arrange a semi-regular event.

I think member yohy?! lives there.

My dad, while not being a member, has attended several AFF events and would probably be interested in certain events too.

Hi there :)

Very happy to support any HK AFF activities

I'm here now (Conrad) for the next 3 nites...about to head out for dinner tonite solo :(...if you are free...........

Is it still a great hotel?
Won't complain:)....upgraded to a very nice King Executive Harbour Suite....if only it wasn't so smogy, and I could see Kowloon:( Like others have said, don't like the Executive lounge as the tables are too close to each other, and the food (hot) offering is not as good as other Asian Hilton / Conrads. Service etc is very good...

Based in NKG and could most likely be persuaded to pop down for a weekend...:)

Conrad weekend buffet is a winner with free-flow wine and cold rock ice cream dessert :):)

We may have found our meeting venue. haha.

Now if only we could lure a QF/CX/other *O representative to come along, it could make it very interesting indeed

I fly through HKG regularly.

In recent years I haven't spent as long on the ground as I would have liked, but I do hope to be around some more in the coming year :)

I believe winglets747 also lives in HKG now.

cafe deco also does a good seafood buffet with free-flow, sadly the view from the peak is rubbish at present with all the soupy-smog about

think we'd have more luck finding the local QF marketing manager than anyone from CX (unless you're hiding CX DM+, isochronous ;))

I'll have a talk to my dad over Christmas, he's Diamond and always being asked to participate in testing of products, so probably has met a few people, and his good mate who will also be over through Christmas is a lifetime Diamond (DM+ now?), so might be able to rustle something up for the new year.

Alas, I can't make it.

Wait, you're telling me QF actually does marketing in HK?

If anyone is around on the 5th Jan, I'll be there all day before catching QF128.

Quite happy to catch up for brunch/lunch/(early) dinner.:D

I'll be around. Send me a PM and let's see if times line up.

Let's try and do a big group event post CNY.
