as said by the 12th Man...

"harder to pick than a broken nose!"

I hope Libs win but have a feeling that it will be Lab with Green preferences.

Is there an election in Victoria today?

When Liberals were in power at Federal level all state governments were Labor.

What odds with Labor now in power at Federal level most, if not all, state governments will be Liberal?

Who cares?! ;)

(This is from a NSWelshman who doesn't even care about NSW government anymore.)

I reckon Labour to hang on by the skin of their teeth. IMHO the Liberal opposition haven't demonstrated that they really want to be in government.

The old adage that oppositions don't win but that incumbents lose is generally true but the opposition has to really want to win to present a credible alternative.

NSW is proof that the most incompetent incumbent can remain forever if the opposition is even worse.

I would say from early counting it may be a Lib win.

And the ABC 24 hour news channel is showing ALP 37 L/NP 45 doubt 4.

Sounds like they are using different data.

Who ever wins will have to stay on their toes which will be a refreshing change.
The current Labor Gov't seems to have dropped the ball on just about everything.

As usual we live in a safe National seat (Peter Ryan) with only dimwits standing against him.

No contest at all.
