Has anyone been on any recent QF F flights since changes to menu etc? Is it fully back to pre-covid?

Read somewhere that the QF F check in suite at SYD opens at 5am, is that still the case? Thanks in advance.

F check-in wasn't open when I passed through around 5.45am on Good Friday. Used J check-in instead.

What specifically are you asking about? I flew F SYD SIN SYD at Easter. There was nothing missing from what I remember of F pre covid but I couldn't swear nothing has changed.

On QF1 I wanted to order the F signature coughtail and I was surprised when the FA insisted that was a white wine spritzer 😂 The CSM said it wasn't and rushed off to the galley to stop her making a spritzer. But I'm not at all sure what was in the drink I was eventually served. It was as sweet as cordial and I couldn't even taste alcohol.

On QF2 the mattress was much thicker than I remember from pre covid.

I liked the bubbles served on QF1 which was something by Heidsieck more than the Ayala served on QF2.

I did a couple of QF international flights back in December and January and can concur with others that the Qantas First check in desks were closed (and I was travelling in the afternoon in those instances). This was at SYD and MEL INTL. Unsure what’s going on here other than to think that they don’t have enough demand to justify opening those desks.

Disappointing to see a national carrier like Qantas stoop to serving French wine instead of fine Australian champagne! 😂

Probably Blanc des Millénaires.
QF bubbles in F are a bit of a pot luck with what you get. It's been that way for ages.
Used to be they published a list of 2 or 3 (I remember when it was Comtes, Pol Roger "Sir Winston Churchill" and another that I forget.. perhaps the Rare) and you got whatever was loaded. For awhile it was Veuve La Grande Dame, and for quite some time it was Comtes 2006/2007. The last F flights I had a few months back it was something I never heard of (and forgot) and I think Comtes

Unlike an EK or SQ where you know what you'll get it's usually been variable.

Thanks all. Just weighing up whether to burn the points going to LAX in F or do J. I think I'll stick with F as I haven't done the updated QF F.
