Just got this. - haven't answered it yet as I wanted to see if there was more to it. It looks like this is the only question? I misread it as being about the QClub and started to respond then realised.

1. On a scale of 0 - 10, based on your experience with the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, how likely are you to recommend the program to a close friend or family member?

No survey for me

Cant see why they would bother with only 1 question

I'm not sure if it is only one question but after the 'submit' button it says "thank you for your time" which usually signals the fat lady singing.

Edit: okay I submitted my response and got this:
The system is unable to complete your request at this time due to technical difficulties. Try again later.

I got the survey, submitted my score and that was it.

I suspect that depending on your answer it may lead on to further questions / contact.

I received a telephone call last week from an external firm requesting 20 mins of my time to go through a Qantas Customer Relations questionnaire (read out all of the Qantas and their firm privacy issues etc) and also acknowledged that I had submitted previously that I would be happy to do so.

Took approx 20 mins and was generally comparisons between QF, cough*, Virgin and Tiger. Only Domestic did not want to mention or even acknowledge any of the QF International debacles experienced over last 2 years

:p

I can only guess that as I quite often provide feedback after flights, both good and bad, they do not need to ask me many questions, so no survey here.

^ I'm guessing you haven't dealt much with Paypal? :p They send out a survey a week and there is no incentive.

My boyfriend received this Qantas survey today. I did not. I'm guessing it was completely random.

I have no QF survey and also never get them from Paypal (thank goodness)

Got one from Amex yesterday which I completed. No benefit to me except I can rib them about Paypal acceptance/general merchant acceptance and high merchant fees.

Amex did say they would be donating $US15K to the International Red Cross though ...

I got one, and I haven't flown Qantas for more than a year!

Yes I did last week but was expecting more thatn ONE question. Not what you;d clall the most "thorough" survey at all!:?:

I finally went back to it and submitted this time where it actually went through. One question is a waste of time really. I used the chance to have a whinge about the difficulty in getting award flights for more than one pax and all the fees and charges making cheap tickets better value than using points. I did say you might as well get the points anyway so why wouldn't you join?

Now waiting for the reward of my free RTW F ticket...

...could be waiting for a loooooooong time!

What is Qantas trying to achieve with a one question survey?

Could the feedback received be used to gauge if time is right to float QFF?

You do wonder. If the survey went to everyone or at least reasonably frequent flyers it might have some relevance but I'm at a loss. It wasn't a survey to see who replied to surveys by the look of it.
