Arrived into SYD last night on QF88 and after passing immigration realize I'd left my sparkling new Motorola Droid Razr on board the aircraft in row 24.

Called Lost Property who advised nothing had been handed in :(

I'm thinking it is so thin that it may have been missed by the cleaners and made the return trip to HKG today...so either someone's found a new phone on board or it's been handed in at HKG.

It is a small world after all...so anyone on this flight?

Actually to be honest I'm not sure where the operating aircraft ended up after Sat night at SYD...

could look up the flight details and see where it went to next?

Looks like: VH-QPG operated that flight and hasn't left today.

Thanks, perhaps they havent cleaned it yet to avoid penalty rates on the weekend. Might give them another try on Monday Arvo.

That was your phone? It's for sale on Ebay if you want it back. ;)

Last time I left a phone on an aircraft, it was into BKK. "No we haven't found anything"

I suspect it was listed on Ebay before I had cleared customs...

I actually lost my blackberry years ago on a flight BLR-HKG on KA - got an email (obviously it wasn't locked) from a Boeing Exec who found it and Fed Ex'd my BB back to my office in Oz!

Just in case I lose my phone, I leave a label-maker label on the phone with a my name, friends number + my email address stuck to it.. It just makes it easy for whoever finds it to "do-the-right-thing" if they choose to..

Impressive.

I was genuinely stunned - it actually topped the CSM running down the aerobridge after me carrying my iPod that we had spent 15 mins looking for on descent.
