If you are and can grab a photo of the front and back of the passenger arrival card and post it here I would appreciate it!

Many thanks!! Doesn't seem to be any questions about what goods am bringing in etc so hopefully shouldn't have any problems. (I need to take a prototype up to get something manufactured.)
Scanning of baggage on exit appears quite random. Most of the time you walk through with the odd person being screened. But sometimes they put everyone from one or origin through screening.

Cheers - I was too tired to take a lot of notice when I flew in about a month ago - DPO-MEL-HKG-PVG is a long day!

Simple procedure to take any goods in is to have a prepared Invoice in hand in name of your Chinese contact with description of goods for nominal amount - will not be a problem.

As for scanning on arrival if into PVG during daytime most likely ALL pax will have ALL luggage scanned - or not - it can be hit and miss.

PEK not normally full scanning but it can be - expect it at all Chinese ports and then no surprise - if not actuated you are good to go 👍

Cheers - will do the invoice thing and then that should solve the problem if I get checked.
