Any reason why? QP access or ticket swap? If Ticket swap then I don't think that will work.

I be at Melb Intl on Dec 15 though but my wife gets my comp pass. :-)

odoherty just wants to meet at the respective QP's (or First Lounge) as he's Plat [aren't you by now] and share a drink to while away the time waiting to board his flight.

If I was in either port, I'd be having a HP with him

I've got a pesky 120 SCs left. Got a flight to Sydney on Monday back on Tuesday and can probably arrange for another meeting the following week.

That leaves me with 40 more points which I can get on my 4 x 10 SC earning Class S AA flights in the USA.

I will probably have to beg to be let into the First Class lounge in LAX as I would not have got my Plat card in that time. :-|

Daniel

As long as it prints your status on your boarding pass (which it should), you shouldn't have a problem getting into the lounge.

Good point but now I only have to hope that the 4 AA flights (one of which is on the day I leave from LAX) credit my SCs into Qantas.

I suspect I'll have to do some fast talking. :-)

Hmmmm, just remembered that Qantas gave me a free upgrade to Business the next time I fly form LAX to MEL due to a mix up they had a few years ago. I wonder if I can still use it as it was back in 2001. I still have the letter they told me to present. I might have to make this another topic for discussion.

Regards
Daniel

I would love to have a HP with you as well one day.

You sound like a good bloke, and I mean that sincerely. :D
