ANZ Bank QFF points slow

Wife just received her new ANZ Plat and Amex cards, asked about the free 20K QF points when applying direct at Bank, found out 2 weeks later after receiving the cards, that in the fine print (not mentioned at bank) it can take up to 3 months to be given!.

may want to check out the fine print as with most of these it's usually only after the first statement. May even be after paying the first statement.
I think that is why they put 3 months.

Yes didn't think of it while at bank, conditions were not mentioned, even the bank clerk did not know about it until her superiors told her, then she told us, why they do this not sure, maybe because they don't have to pay Q for the FF points for 3 months or hoping the spend and following interest will cover some of it, with us they have no chance we pay in toto when due anyway.
