Searched high and low for this answer. Has anybody experienced the J class offer on the ANZ 767-300 from SYD to RAR. Flight numbers NZ60/61. As far as I can see the seats are old style. I have not experienced their J service before and any feed back on that would also be appreciated.

Thanks:)

It's a standard leather J class recliner. A bit narrow. Good IFE. Avoid row 1.

I've done J class T-T a few times.

Seats are comfortable and recline a lot, so front row a bit better.

Catering/device was good and AVOD movie selection fine.

Other than that, see here: The New Ultimate Seating Thread, version deux - Flyertalk Forums

Thanks guys.... change of tactics

Just booked VA reward seat in Y+. A bit more of a hassle with the arrival and departure times but the reward rate far better than Y (for some reason) As well now we get status credits as well as lounge access.:)

True on the SC's but you will have to stop in AKL and fly VA metal I assume, which is an inferior hard product. Also you get the VA service which is clearly 'amatuer hour' compared to NZ J class.

I think he'll live with it for the price he got....
