Despite the heading of this thread, i don't think the recent changes were ever meant to fix award availability problem for QFF members wanting premium redemptions.
In fact I doubt Qantas would even agree there is a problem, they are having no issues selling points and the loyalty division is more profitable than the the flights they run.
A guaranteed number of seats in each class on every QF flight released predictably would be awesome, but they will still be snapped up by elites who get earlier access.
