Article: Most of today's flights to Sydney are sold out due to Taylor Swift

I now read of complaints from a Swifties that she was not able to listen to TS because some "banshee" decided to sing along behind her at the top of her voice🤣

I suspect you’re not going then…?

Meanwhile where are the award seats? 😂
Surprisingly I managed to book 3 in J for our return flight from SYD to BNE on VA yesterday afternoon. Mind you, I booked them in June last year :) for 22 200 pts each.

Yeah, I think you got mixed up. Tay tay is doing 'concerts'. She is not doing 'gigs', not musical.

Musicals and gigs don't flood airplanes and trains. Only concerts and festivals do.

Which is why there is a Tomorrowland plane by Brussels Air. There is no plane for musicals.

Which then makes me wonder: Why didn't Rex run more Tay Tay shuttles? They would get so much publicity to sell their gold triangle services?
It all depends on the venue used.
Most theatrical productions and musicals use venues that seat 200-600 people, with a few topping out at 1000 seats.

Most concerts are in venues in the 20-40,000 seats, with some venues getting up to 120,000.
When you get into the larger venues, you're looking at stadiums which have more seats for concerts then that same venue does for their normal use.
For example, Tokyo Dome is a baseball stadium. When used in that capacity, it seats 45.600.
When used for a concert, it seats 55,000. So larger concerts tend to have more people attending then their normal transport plans expect.
