Was having a look at ASA options ex CNS to BNE this Friday, I clicked one of the options below and was a little bit surprised by what the actual flights were, anyone care to guess what I am alluding too?

I think you will find there are occasionally some bargains that are not obvious, especially if you want to preserve your points tally.

I must be missing it... The only weird things I can see is the Cairns to Rockhampton going via Mackay and Townsville and the fact that the last J class option is cheaper than most Y asa's and nets 120SC's.

What did I miss??? Now I'll have to ponder over this the whole afternoon :D

The Qantaslink Any Seat Awards are expensive and the business class Any Seat Award via SYD is the cheapest....

The cheapest YASA option actually has a segment in J

So for 12000 points and $220, you earn 3700 points back making the real cost 8300 and netting 60 SCs.

You really are the ASA guru

But are you sure you get JASA SCs if it's booked as a red e-deal YASA?

it does say it is a business class segment so I would assume so. You do get the 1250 miles...
