Departures MEL and SYD, wide open all year including peak periods. All flights on A50s and 787s (full flats). Layovers in Vietnam can be lengthy, so select your flights carefully.

Fares (AUD) $4250 to CDG/FRA and $4350 to London (incl luxe departure tax).

Air France can be used on some of the CDG flights (France-Vietnam), but check the seating, some of their 777s still have angled beds in business (not sure of the refurbishment timeline).

Hello ME. Did you book through the airline's website or through some other channel?

I didn't book this particular deal (from March 2017) but I think it was via google flights (which linked to Expedia). The Viet Nam Airlines website seems patchy at best, sometimes showing an error screen. Don't know why this happens. Just today my colleage found domestic flights but all they got was an error when they went to book them an hour later. Google flights, skyscanner and expedia are all good places to start, as well as ITA Matrix (but you can't book through ITA)
