Just thought I would create another fun thread for places with a high concentration of Aussies that you have unexpectedly come across.

Just had dinner at a small pizza bar / restaurant in Argegno, Lake Como, Italy.. (La Piazetta, top ranked on TripAdvisor in this small town)

Seven tables occupied, five by Australians - two older couples, one younger couple, a family and myself and friend.

Walkabout on Australia Day. Oh, you said 'unexpectedly'. :)
Hammersmith / Shephards Bush at night.

I may be the only Aussie in my workplace (~30 people), but usually hear a few accents during my travels.

Only missed you by 3 months. Had a nice simple lunch when we were there. Some fairly amazing wines to see there.

Funny about that. On the same date we were about 5km further up Lake Como at Tremezzo. At our accommodation there was another couple of Aussies and then on the ferry we heard 6 other couples / families from down-under.

On our cruise up the West coast of Africa 11 of the 108 pax were from the Sunshine Coast.
