Availability of Award Seats on United

Hi all,

I am trying to book 3 Economy Krisflyer award seats on United (SYD-LAX) in the middle of February. I can see available seats on the ANA website for most days in Feb, but when I called Krisflyer they told me there are no award seats available in February on this flight.

Does this sound right to you?

Yes, that has happened to me previously when looking for some routes. The SQ rep cannot see the same availability.

Suggest ringing back for another go on a different staff shift.

Also, consider alternate dates and routes, ie maybe NZ via AKL.

Another method that worked for me is finding the return sector with availability and then asking if they can find outbound availability,
