Avis Preferred at MEL

Hi, I'm hiring a car down in Melbourne tomorrow, and it will be the first time with Avis Preferred. Also, I am unfamiliar with the hire car locations.
Where do I go and what do I do? Is there a board I need to find my name on, and is it in the terminal or the yard?

It's been a while since I've picked up a car from MEL, but IIRC you exit the terminal from the baggage collection area and go directly over to the Avis office in the car park. Go through the office into the arpark and there should be the display board identifying your name and vehicle location.

Very easy. Collect your luggage from downstairs. Walk across the road (you will see plenty of buses outside the front area), cross over the pedestrian crossing there and AVIS is directly in front.

Fantic has it right. I have had some poor experiences waiting for cars though. Also I hope you checked your booking well as I have been caught out with excess fees.
