Avis Rental Car in Scotland

I'm looking at renting a car in Glasgow. Due to the age of a backup driver (83) who I'd like to be a nominated driver, "just in case", the booking will likely be through Avis.

These cars would meet our needs.

Ford Focus CDMRGPEB
Hyundai Ioniq CDARFDEB
Volkswagen Golf CXMRFDEB

Obviously, they say "or similar" when nominating the vehicles. I've found references online to the first 4 letters of the code they use, but none for the last 4.

Can anyone offer suggestions of which models fit into the "or similar" category. Other than the Ioniq being a hybrid, I'd have considered all 3 being similar to each other.

This page suggests that the Vauxhall Astra is “similar” to the Focus and a Volvo V40 = the Golf.
