Avis UK Site Down

Avis UK must have a significant problem - their website has been down for 4 days now for "maintenance". After 4 days I'm suspicious that there's more to it than maintenance.

Made a couple of bookings just before the outage but didn't receive email confirmation. Then a check of the CC showed they'd taken multiple payments. No response to my emails yet

Back up now, whatever their issue was. And yes, normal maintenance doesn't take 4 days

Is working for me in London. I can browse the site, and perform a booking up to the 'Review and Pay' page as well.

Thanks for everyone's replies - cleared the cache and it's all good! Now to get my multiple payments back.........
