It is terrible!!!

Is it my computer or is it really that difficult?

I spent the last 2 hours trying to book 2 seats but I can even get to the screen to choose flights. I got to the screen with dates and availability but that is as far as I can go. I selected the dates and press "Continue" but it returned to the same screen. I tried both IE and Chrome with the same results. I tried to clear all history and it didn't help. How about restarting the computer? Still can't do it.

Please!!! IF it is the website then Qantas please make it better.

Might be worth giving QF a call. Sometimes in the situation you describe it means there is actually no availability - the system is showing phantom... so when you go to select it just goes back to the main screen.
 
I spoke to QF person, who told me that the new website design integration hasn't gone well and some core functionality doesn't work all the time

Definitely hit and miss at the moment. It doesn't seem as bad today as it was yesterday.
