Award J & lounge access?

Apologies for the stupid question. Just wanted to confirm. Flying J soon SYD to PER on award ticket. Not a QP member (yet; to be approved by Mrs 8803). Is one entitled to lounge access with the J BP, despite it being an award flight?

Lounge Access

Business customer can access the lounge when departing on a Qantas operated flight with a QF flight number. No guest access.

The Melbourne International Business Lounge is currently undergoing refurbishment works with the newly refurbished lounge due to open late September 2008.

This was not a silly question - I have a disc economy upgrade to Business Class this Friday. I would have toddled into the normal QP with my business class (upgraded) ticket.

Is access through the main QP, or is there another entry?

Sydney (T3) Domestic Business Lounge - now open.
Enter via the escalators on the departure concourse opposite gate 4.
