I have a long convoluted story that I won't go into here, (if you're interested see the Air Canada took my money thread in the AC forum)

I booked reward seats one way Canberra - Los Angeles and used points + pay for 4 tickets
I am now having buyers remorse because my AC flights got stuffed about and now a one way ticket is extremely high and I can't find any one way seats to get me home using my points.

The date I need to come home either from Vancouver or Los Angeles is anywhere between Sept 23 - 25th
I only have 220,000 points left so would need to do a points + pay option but I can't see anything available for us.

Any ideas?

Reward seats via HNL? Or Reward seat to HNL and pay for Jetstar home. Jetstar won’t charge extra because it’s one way.

I'll look into that. I'm wondering if anyone can see anything on the velocity rewards page because it doesn't seem to matter what I put in I'm getting "no availability"
for everything.

If I go to United website and look up rewards bookings I can see using their system they have plenty available - but I don't have United points to use - only Velocity.

I did read on another thread that VA partner seat don’t seam to be showing at the moment. Seems like a temp glitch.

good to know, I gave them a call and they said nothing is wrong. But clearly there is. I'm getting 11 months of "not available" so something's not right.
