As a small business there may be some advantage with our competition if we award QFF points. I imagine this is expensive but perhaps a member knows, or could direct me to an appropriate web site. (The main QFF website appears to be for member info only) - Tks

Have you approached Qantas?

Our business has a loyalty programme that runs with a Qantas frequent flyer points system.
The contract is an exclusive deal so you cannot have any other airline points deal running which is quite fair on both parties.
The cost is to remain confidential for the life of the contract which is understandable.
We have found Qantas to be easy to deal with and their accounting is always accurate and easy to follow.
Ask for Mark Foley at Qantas main office in Sydney.

There is a take and pay clause which is obvious. There is also a don't take and still pay by an anniversary date with a 250k limit per individual per contract year.
It really gets down to whether a smallish business can make the contract target each year.
I believe the 250k limit has been set by Tax Department but a family of 4 could get a 1M in 4 lots of 250k if they are eligible.
With QF having successfully expanded their QFF numbers redemptions of points in Y+,J or F can be a bit harder so there may be a more "ho hum" attitude by customers compared with a decade ago.
Having said that I do hear back from customers who tell me their trip was the best thing that ever happened for them and that QF was wonderful.
