Tip for BUPA members - you can get 15% off - login to the BUPA website and see. That's 15% off published fare (ie off BFOD).

Prices for J were decent, even better with 15% off....

Still kind of new to this game. I'm a BUPA member and I need to travel to London for a work project.

Just wondering if this is a pretty good deal?

Looks a lot better than QF price of $5,740 for the same dates in PE.

QF are dreaming........

good tip, how long is it valid for?

Website says deal runs until June 30, but of course it's best to purchase when the airfare is already on sale as it's 15% off the (base component) of the fare you are purchasing. So 15% off a sale fare (ie. it's not 15% off RRP). Which makes it a good deal (unlike some of these offers at times).

ISTR seeing this offer some years ago, cant remember if it was with BUPA or one of the superannuation companies. I guess if it's successful enough, it will be extended.

The 15% discount isn't just open to BUPA members - there's also BA OnBusiness (which anyone can access) and MLC discounts: Access a 15% Discount on British Airways flights originating in Australia | Point Hacks
Annoyingly the discount only runs to end of June, have access the OnBusiness team if they have plans to extend and will report back if I can find a way to book flights with the discount for travel post June.
Some great deals in Y+ here - looking at 2.5k pp to Europe over a long Christmas break.

Unfortunately one way Y+ fare is about $500 more expensive than the sale fare (as usual).
I could have used with a JASA return.
I'll still wait to see what QF offers in April (but doubtful with strong AUD).

If I'm not a BUPA member I can still get the 15%? I'm a little confused.

Wow that would have great but unfortunately travelling in august...to get the 15% have to complete travel by 30 June.

This seems like extremely good value - Y+ on BA for about the same as QF Y. I know BA Y+ is not as good as QF Y+ but is that the only catch?

I wasn't clear if it was complete travel by June 30 or book by June 30 (or both)? My travel dates are April/May so wasn't relevant to me.

This offer has been around for a while so may be extended.....

I dummied a couple of bookings on the BA OnBusiness site last night. It looked like if you departed by 30 June then you get the discount on both legs.

I did see some decent SYD-LHR flights on BA in April, May and June. ($819 per leg in Y, $1340 per leg in Y+ and $3020 per leg in J)

At the moment the BA site is going really slow for me.
