BA lounge LHR - chair problem

Just something that has been bothering me - been a few times to the the BA lounge at LHR (business lounge - galleries) and every time people have been banging into the chairs at the bar in the back of the lounge. One time I was there with my 4mnth old daughter who was just alsleep before flight back to Oz only to be woken up by those chairs/stools. Last month in the same lounge same problem.

Just wondering if other AFF members have had same experience?? Nothing big just one of these things that you notice while travelling.

When you say banging into you mean they make a loud noise when bumped? Is this a scraping sound on the floor? I can’t recall hearing any noise from the back of the lounge last year when I was there. Though I wasn’t listening for one either

Is that T5 or T3? Haven't noticed it so far but will pay attention next month. I do remember the chairs and the table in T3 making noisy contact and the chairs scraping the floor.

Its T3 before QF flight to Oz. I just noticed there is an unusual high nr of people kicking the chairs with their feet when they try to get a water or wine which is served from that bar. Because the chairs are metal on a tile floor it makes a screech sound. Normally would not notice it but as I was jetlagged already and tried to do some work I noticed it. Then of course I started listening out for it.

Out of interest why were you in the J lounge if you are WP?

I only qualified for WP AFTER this last leg ! Hope the F lounge has diff chairs

I see the OP responded now, I was wondering if maybe he was thrown out of the first lounge (some time after entry) like I was for no reason given what so ever other than
'entry is at our discression and we would like you to leave'

I havent heard this in the F lounge which has similar chairs near some of the bar areas.

Just blame those noisy Iberians since all the ba and ib flight to Spain go from T3
