Have been monitoring prices for a while planning an H2 trip - came close to booking an AY codeshare but a friend mentioned he had seen some cheaper J now on BA/QF. Had a look on webjet and it does appear that QF and BA have dropped their J prices - only now a couple hundred more than Ethiad and Thai Airways....

Is there a sale on I have missed hearing out about?!

I'm not sure about J class,pauly7,but I have recently booked SYD-LHR return in QF PE for October at $3900.00 which I consider very good value.:)

Those in the UK flying to Oz can get better fares than that. Business class fares start at abound AUD5260 inc tax on airline such as Asiana or Etihad with Cx at AUD5663 and BA/QF at AUD6430

1st class on Etihad is only AUD7740

On the cheap end, BA WT+ is only AUD2708 and QF PE at AUD3175 ... ( seems like QF is being forced to compete a bit now that BA is pulling out of Joint Sharing in PE)
