BAEC change of address question

Hi,

I've signed up to BAEC however I am now wondering if I should have done so via my parent's Canadian address in order to take advantage of family sharing of points etc. Does anyone know if there is an implication of changing address from the UK to Canada? I have no points at the moment, but I don't want to create another account unnecessarily.

I'm pretty sure you can just change your address.

Not aware of any difference in rules for Canadian v UK BAEC accounts (there used to be lower status threshholds for EU residents but that stopped a few years ago)

There are a few advantages and disadvantages of Household Accounts (How to use British Airways or Avios household account)

Avios.com accounts do have to be based in the Uk though; sometimes there are Avios opportunities from this

Not sure if BA Amex and BAEC account addresses have to match
