HI Folks,

Traveling to London (perm migration) from Melbourne on April 25th.

We are traveling as family. 2.5yo daughter, myself and my wife.

We are hoping to have another baby in the UK (why am I telling you this?) because I hope to travel with BOTH a car seat and a full size pram.

Will we likely get away with this ADDITIONAL to our 30kg per person? Or is there no chance and we’ll need to account for it?

I’ve run Singapore, but tbh, the dude had no idea what I was talking about.

Ideally we take 3 x 30kg + PRam + Car seat. WIll we get away with this as “baby accessories” or nope?

Thanks for any guidance.

For under 3s you can take a car-seat and collapsible pram on board but the site is less clear about checking them in
My then 2.5 year olds wouldn't have fancied the onboard car-seat
Do think you'll need to check again with SQ-I would guess car-seat OK for free, non-collapsible pram towards limits
Good choice of airline for travelling with a little one 😀

Good luck with the move. When we migrated (special migration fare on EK with 40kg pp in 2009) we had so many rag-tag cases that when one went missing, we struggled to remember what it looked like. Good to take a photo 😀

THank you so much all. Really appreciated.

I have also received a private message offering help, so following that angle also.

Hey mate, all good, it helped. Basically am planning on taking 30kg worth of baby items, then 20kg each (60 total) of luggage. Thanks.
