Baggage allowance SFO-ADL with an AA codeshare flight?

I'm trying to figure out some costs!
I'm booked Sunday week SFO-LAX-SYD-ADL - all on one PNR, Economy/Coach same day etc etc. The flight from SFO to LAX is a QF codeshare on AA.
I'm a QP member and SG so in theory entitled to 3 bags up to 23kg EXCEPT the SFO-LAX leg.
Does anyone know what it would cost me on AA for a third bag? I've looked at their website and I think it is $150 but would appreciate someone elses opinion.
I've called QF but she was unable to help me.
And before you ask, yes, I really do need/want to bring a 3rd bag home with me full of "stuff"!

If this is all on QF flight numbers then your allowance should be as for QF.

The problem is that you'll be checking in with AA and they or their computers may not relate to your SGness.

With mixed carrier bookings in relation to the USA exemption to IATA 302, the allowance for the Marketing Carrier of the "MSC" (in this case QF selling QF12 or QF108) should apply for the entire trip.

The AA web site has no information on routes AA do not operate, so no information on extra costs.

Thanks Serfty, all I keep seeing is 2 pcs, with provisos for different FF membership levels.
I have 4 hours in the Admirals Club on Saturday on the way to SFO so I think I'll have a chat with the lounge dragons at Tom Bradley and see what I can find out. The "stuff" I'm bringing back is light but bulky, so I might get away with 2 large bags, and Ill post home what doesn't fit.
I just wish QF still flew direct to SFO.
