Hi AFF,

I have booked a return flight SYD > BKK > HKT (return) with BKK > HKT operated on PG (Bangkok Airways) with a QF flight number and all of it is on the same booking. Booked as QF 295/ QF 3488 - QF 3455/ QF 296.

I have checked the QF website and can only find reference to baggage and boarding pass through check from Qantas to Bangkok Airways but I would like to know about the return. Would Bangkok Airways provide the QF boarding pass and through check my baggage or would I need to collect it in BKK?

Bonus question: lounge access, looks like PG offer a lounge for "all" pax (no status required) then a special one for business class. As a QF Platinum is there any lounge access prior to the PG flight departing BKK other than the economy PG lounge?

I have done similar trip last year but from Koh Samui. Bangkok Airways through checked the luggage and issued boarding passes for the QF flight.

We asked if we could access the Blue Ribbon lounge (PG's business lounge) but were politely turned away as we were not in Business on the PG flight (WP status and onward business booking with QF didn't count). I believe HKT has a "Boutique" lounge which you could ask about, though I believe they charge 950THB for entry.

In Koh Samui they had a few refreshments around the gate area.
