Bangkok Airways Flights on QF booking

Hey all. Looking to hear from folks who have booked and flown a Bangkok Airways flight after QF23 on the same ticket to see how long status credits took to land (Bangkok Airways doesn't show up on the missing status credits page) but comes up on the status credits earn table.

Since Bangkok Airways is not part of Oneworld, only a QF codeshare would earn status credits.

Then it should credit automatically. If it hasn't after 14 days, submit the claim but for a Qantas flight using the codeshare number.

I flew them on a QF codeshare (QF3xx_) 3 days ago and the points and status credits posted today (vs the BKK-SYD flight which posted on landing in SYD).

Bangkok Airways isn't part of oneworld. You need to be booked on the QF flight number to access the QF lounge at SYD

The actual metal is AY operated for QANTAS but with a PG code, you probably don’t get lounge access because PG is NOT part of Oneworld (yet - there has been speculation but nothing formal).

No harm in trying to access the QF lounge (you will have a QF issued Boarding Pass) but expect the answer to be “No”.

BTW, nor will you earn points nor SCs with QFF under a PG code. You might be able earn with QR FF account.

Amazingly I was allowed into the lounge. Flight number was QF295 and under it said sold by PG2485. Really random, on the way out I’ll probe but didn’t want to before
