Banks supporting cards added to Apple Pay before the card arrives

So title says it all I have just over a week to get approved for card(well a friend actually) to earn qantas points so is there any cards that support adding the card to Apple Pay before the card arrives in the mail

Probably not. You usually need the CVC number to activate the card in AP.

Some bank apps let you add the card to Apple Pay directly through the app, so you don't need the CVC. NAB and Westpac come to mind. Activating the card before you have it, however, is a different matter... but not impossible.

From memory MAQ bank let you do this, but was a while ago so can’t confirm for sure
