Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

Yes to using my BW debit card but no I am not using this iMacro thing. I am running python and selenium, a bit messier but it works for me.

Interesting as I just went into the My Account section and it let me pay 0.01c - The mind boggles.

Yep, tried a few amounts. Final cost chosen was 50c, but still no luck.

Lets hope it was an error for today only ;)

Thank you back up payment!

That looks familiar. Have you tried any different amount? I haven't had the chance to yet.

I macro just automates the transaction, I think you should be asking hummel what his URL is and trying that. If you are using (and have automated) different URL's it makes total sense that the outcome may be different. And it's not just the person executing that differs.

This is my code after all the field inputs. I just set it to 51 loops (in case one fails) and walk away - rarely a problem as long as the wifi connection is good. I use the iMacros add-on for Firefox, using a Mac.
A more efficient solution is to run it once, then refresh (with a delay) eleven times. Repeat this seven times, you should get your fifty a lot quicker, and still recover from a few errors.

Strange: Did a test payment which went well.

Then: "The payment was declined" - There are errors in your transaction process. Please contact your service provider.

Receipt number: ×+×+×+×+
Date of payment: today!

Finally bit the bullet and setup Firefox with iMacros. Much smoother than iMacros in Chrome. Thanks all for the advice and suggestions here. 50 transactions with Telstra ran smoothly this morning before 8:30am. Telstra's been having widespread outages today... perhaps it's hitting their payments system too...?

I hope someone can prove me wrong but it seems like EnergyAus have now implemented $1.00 minimums.
The pay button cannot be clicked if it's an amount between $0.01 and $0.99 (I only tried $0.01, $0.02 and $0.99). As soon as you change it to $1.00, the pay button lights up and allows you to click it. Looks like it's over.. :(

Who's left? Is it ONLY Telstra? Or are Optus/Virgin/anyone else still able to be done?

Has anyone tried any private health insurance providers?

If I'm not mistaken, this looks to have been implemented some time between 4am SYD time and 2pm SYD time today.

See previous page. I posted about this yesterday morning...

However I am still managing to get 0.01c transactions through in maybe bunches of 5 before I get an error. I haven't looked into it any further just yet but rest assured they are still accepting 0.01 payments.

I saw your post. Your error is different to mine.

In fact, the whole payment page in your screenshot looks different to mine.

For mine, you type in the payment amount and there's a big rectangular "pay" button just below it which "lights up" (indicating that you can click it) once an amount is typed in. I'm finding this doesn't light up unless you put $1.00 or more now. I get no error message. It simply does not allow the pay button to be clicked if it is $0.99 or less.

Manual test via website (same link as imacro):

1c / 9c (photo) = fail
10c (photo), 50c + 99c = passed, asking for cc details.

Excellent. Looking forward to my statement. Might just try and apply for a Bankwest debit black if this first one is successful. I have to say there were a lot of fails with the Telstra payment. Not sure if that's related to internet connections or not.

You don't apply, you go into a branch and say you want to upgrade.
