looks like telstra has had enough too, minimum payment is now $1
Well that's it for me then!! I didn't mind contributing $15 a month to a family member's telstra bill, but my generosity doesn't extend to $1500 a month
looks like telstra has had enough too, minimum payment is now $1
The thing has ended. Previously, we had various payees change their methods to eliminate small payments, as Telstra has now done.Which biller still accepta 1c payment? Happy to pay their bill. Please pm me
Bizarrely, the account's still open a week after BW said it would be closed (13/09).
Could the FOS have had a word with BW, about closing accounts just 5 days after the account holder receives the notification?
I may have a way for those willing to donate 50c a day to continue 1c transactions. It is early days and I am testing the water with my account first. I will let you know how it goes.

Such a low act by *ankbest, i'm bitterly disappointed
i must have forgot to put /sarcasmI don't think that reversing points incorrectly credited is a low act, in fact it's very reasonable. Why would you expect to keep points that were accidentally delivered to your QFF account?
Tried that. They told me i was indefinitely banned to do soWonder if I should open another account after they closed mine ........

Kick 'em when they're down, eh?I stand ready to wage legal jihad against anyone who has their precious QFF stolen from them by Bankwest!

Not just companies. Consider the original post, to which I responded:They're a bank, not a charity.
For whatever reason they've decided to cease these accounts which they're entitled to do. The lack of communication is frustrating but again they have done all they were required to do, just as we as customers have.
They have again clearly mishandled the closing of these accounts by not managing the transfer of points to Qantas. It does appear that they were trying to reverse something that was earned while fully complying with the terms and conditions of their product (and something they were permitting for a number of years).
There were plenty of people who this bank "kicked while they were down" during the GFC. I can't say I've got any sympathy for a company that really should have known better.
Sounds like rubbing salt into the wounds to me!I stand ready to wage legal jihad against anyone who has their precious QFF stolen from them by Bankwest!
